Assembly phase in Wuppertal:
After we dismantled our HDU it was transported to Wuppertal, where we then had about 2 weeks to finish the building.

Construction progress of the Prefabrication in Rosenheim:
After
nearly two years of planning, we began prefabricating our wooden modules in mid-December
of 2021.
The modules will then be transported to our construction site at the
TH Rosenheim, where we will be able to complete our levelup prototype.

Today, our construction team started dismantling the HDU. It will be taken to Wuppertal and finished there for the competition phase.

In the interior, the wooden ceiling panelling is installed, including the provision for the lighting.
Today we continued with the exterior panelling of the House Demonstration Unit. The wooden panels were prepared and attached. Other points of the day were the insulation of the floor structure on the terrace and the installation of the electricity distribution box.

The windows have been installed and the furniture is already being assembled.

Today the windows of our HDU were delivered. The windows contain recycled vacuum hybrid glass.
The ventilation system was completed. In addition, the grey water tanks are already in place and the heating system is being installed.

The steel staircase for the second floor was delivered and assembled.
The HDU will be heated with an electric heat pump. For this purpose, the copper pipes for the floor heating were laid in the living area today.

was already great progress on the first floor, the elements for the upper floor
arrived today.
Here will be a greenhouse, a technical room and a roof terrace.

interior construction is moving forward in big steps.
At the same time we are
already working on the furniture construction in the workshops.

For
insulation, a vapour barrier and wood fiber boards are installed.
In our next steps, we got our construction site ready for rain and snow so that the construction of the HDU could continue without any problems!
After that our team continued to work diligently and achieved a lot of progress.

We prepared everything for our Topping-out ceremony in the evening.
To make sure that everybody know what's happening on our construction site our corporate design team attached many construction site banners and posters across the building fences.
The party was a great success and a big milestone for the whole team!

Our modules
arrived at the construction site, which is located directly next to the
Rosenheim Technical University.
Our team leaders had been waiting in great anticipation for the trucks.
Upon arrival, everyone lent a helping hand to get the modules in place.
